Beztak is looking to hire a Sous Chef join our team. The Sous Chef is responsible for preparing and assisting the Executive Chef with kitchen operations. This position also assists with maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents.
  • Assist the Executive Chef with overseeing daily kitchen operations.
  • Maintain the highest quality food products and service for our seniors.
  • Maintain kitchen sanitation and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and regulatory agencies as they relate to Food Service
  • Manage the entire kitchen in the Executive Chef's absence.
  • The sous chef could be the last line of defense to make sure each piece of food is safe, prepared correctly and tasty.
  • Operating a company vehicle or personal vehicle (as required) to perform job duties. Candidates must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes as needed.
  • Working in a high-pressure environment, interacting with difficult customers/vendors, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, having effective interpersonal skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
