NTN is currently seeking a Business Administrator (Bi-lingual English & Japanese)for our NTNUSA office.
The Business Administrator is responsible to handle routine and advanced duties for the Corporate Finance group. They organize files, create correspondence, prepare reports and documents, manage calendars to schedule appointments, sort mail, prepare invoices and offer general staff support. Serve as an initial point of contact, answering phones and greeting visitors. Make travel arrangements and generate itineraries. The person in this position directly reports to the Vice President/CFO, and also works for the President and the Treasurer.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Translate or prepare communications such as memos, e-mails, invoices, reports and other correspondence
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Prepare monthly and annual presentations by summarizing financial & other database including BOD and shareholders meeting materials
  • Assist processing bank related transactions and recording cash transactions to the daily cash register
  • Support Intercompany invoicing activities
  • Collate and distribute mail, answer phones, schedule appointments, maintain calendars and greet guests
  • Organize work & support expatriates for immigration/work authorization related issues
  • Support Japan headquarters visitors' and management's travel arrangement
  • Assist in maintaining office supplies
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associates' Degree in Business or related field.
  • Bilingual (English & Japanese)
  • Communication and Collaboration - ability to collaborate with other support personnel, management and clients on a regular basis.
  • Decision-making - ability to make independent decisions on a daily basis, address the best way to handle tasks.
  • Organizational skills - ability to stay organized and help keep others organized and determine which tasks are most important.
  • Writing - must be proficient in spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and writing.
  • 1-5 years' business/customer service experience.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At NTN, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate. Pay ranges from $22.00 - $24.00 per hour.
