Job description

Responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Assist brides in selecting and trying on wedding gowns and accessories.
  • Offer expert styling advice on silhouettes, fabrics, veils, headpieces, and accessories.
  • Confidently guide brides through the decision-making process.
  • Use strong sales techniques to help brides say โ€œyes to the dress.โ€
  • Overcome objections and address concerns with professionalism.
  • Achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Prepare fitting rooms and gown selections prior to appointments.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient appointment flow.
  • Follow up with brides after appointments to continue the sales process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of bridal gown sales experience required in a bridal boutique or formalwear environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to close bridal gown sales and meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Strong closing skills and the ability to confidently guide brides through the purchasing decision.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with brides and their guests.
  • Must be available to work weekends and peak bridal shopping hours.
  • Ability to assist brides in and out of gowns and work on your feet for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of bridal designers, fabrics, silhouettes, and alterations process.
  • Experience with appointment-based retail environments and client follow-up.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced boutique environment.

Compensation:

  • $17-$25 per/hr. (Depending on level of experience)
  • Commission
  • Medical Insurance and 401K are offered to Full-Time employees
