Job description

Voted a Top Workplace and Top Pizza nationally, Colony Grill is looking for a service-oriented and hard-working Barback. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will provide efficient bar set up, maintenance, and general service support toward an exceptional all-around experience for our guests.
 
You are a team-oriented individual who can create a welcoming atmosphere; detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities with excellent organization and communication skills that translate into positive outcomes for yourself, restaurant staff members, and guests.
 
Responsibilities: 
  •  Assist bartender and manager with efficient bar set up from the beginning to end of shift.
  •  Keep bar stocked with liquor, glasses, napkins, and all other necessary items before and during service.
  •  Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs, and restock napkins and straws. 
  •  Keep bar area neat; cleaning as needed, remove glassware and organize all sections of bar stations. 
  •  Coordinate with managers, frontline team members and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service to guests.
Qualifications: 
  •  Friendly and customer-focused personality. 
  •  Fast-paced, team-oriented experience.
  •  Ability to stand, walk, and carry service items for prolonged periods of time.
  •  Must be able to carry supplies (10-30 lbs.) and move items that are heavy (up to 50lbs.)
