Reconditioning Manager

Auto Auction of New England, Inc, a family owned business serving New England for over 30 years, is seeking an experienced Reconditioning Manager to join our team. This person must be detail orientated, self-motivated, able to multi-task, be a good leader and have a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of auto detailers to ensure work is done efficiently at the quality our customers expect
  • Hire, train, discipline team members
  • Know how to perform the different level of details and best approaches including decal removals
  • Teach best techniques to team members
  • Create, process and complete work orders
  • Communicate with customers
  • Process payroll
  • Analyze profit and loss statements of the department
  • Maintain and keep all reconditioning equipment in good order
  • Complete and update human resource paperwork for team members as needed
  • Have safety as a high priority
  • Any other auction functions as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of reconditioning experience
  • Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record
  • Friendly and customer service focused
  • Able to multi task and work under pressure
  • Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
  • Can-do, positive attitude
