DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
The Hospitality Associate plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers, dealers, vendors, and employees at the auto auction. This position is responsible for ensuring all customer-facing areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, auction lanes, and common areas are clean, organized, and stocked throughout the day.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, lobbies, auction lanes, dealer lounges, breakrooms, and other facility areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
  • Restock restroom and kitchen supplies including paper products, soap, sanitizer, and coffee supplies.
  • Maintain cleanliness of customer hospitality areas before, during, and after auction events.
  • Prepare hospitality stations with coffee, beverages, snacks, and refreshments as needed.
  • Ensure floors, windows, entryways, and high-traffic areas remain clean and presentable throughout the day.
  • Clean spills and address safety hazards promptly.
  • Report maintenance concerns, damaged equipment, or safety issues to management.
  • Assist with room setup and cleanup for meetings, employee events, or dealer functions.
  • Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies regarding cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers (training provided).
  • Support other departments with facility cleanliness as business needs require.
  • Provide courteous, professional service to customers and employees at all times.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Bend, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and reach overhead.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and auction days as scheduled.
