Civil Defense Associate Attorney

Location: Redlands, CA

Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 + Benefits

Overview

A long-established civil litigation firm in Redlands is seeking a Civil Defense Attorney to join its team supporting a diverse defense practice representing public entities, institutions, and businesses. With decades of presence in the region and over a century of combined legal experience, the firm has built a reputation for handling complex, high-exposure matters and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.

The practice includes defense of claims involving public entity liability, employment issues, premises liability, and other civil litigation matters, often involving sensitive or high-risk allegations. Attorneys are given the opportunity to work on substantive cases from early stages through resolution, with direct involvement in litigation strategy, motion practice, and court appearances.

What You'll Do

  • Draft and prepare legal documents including motions, briefs, and contracts

  • Conduct legal research to support case strategy and client advisement

  • Assist in case preparation and attend hearings and other legal proceedings
