ASSISTANT MANAGER JOB SUMMARY:
Our Assistant Managers lead our teams in the absence of the General Manager.ย This position builds upon the Shift Manager
position.ย As such, the Assistant Managers are responsible for fulfilling the same duties as a Shift Manager.ย In addition, the Assistant Manager may be trained in all management systems and is expected to assist the General Manager as required.ย The Assistant Manager position is a Full-Time position and requires open availability.ย Assistant Managers report to the General Manager.

ASSISTANT MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring that they, the Shift Managers, and the Team Members adhere to the responsibilities outlined in the Team Member job description.
In the absence of a Shift Manager, Assistant Managers are responsible for these duties:
ยทย ย Production management
ยทย ย Completion of temperature logs
ยทย ย Waste tracking and management
ยทย ย Key inventory item counts
ยทย ย Sales and cash reconciliation
ยทย ย Station training of new team members
ยทย ย Addresses escalated guest concerns
ยทย ย Banking duties
Additional responsibilities of an Assistant Manager may include:
ยทย ย Truck orders
ยทย ย Receipt of truck delivery
ยทย ย Weekly inventory counts and reconciliation
ยทย ย Scheduling, with final approval of the General Manager or District Manager
ยทย Conducting interviews and reference checks on qualified applicants
ยทย ย Training of Shift Managers
ยทย ย Any other duties assigned by their General Manager, District Manager, or senior leadership team

ASSISTANT MANAGER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
ยทย ย At least 18 years of age
ยทย ย Open availability
ยทย ย Dependable
ยทย ย Coachable
ยทย ย Shift or Assistant management experience in a Quick Service Restaurant
ยทย ย Valid state Driverโs License, active automobile insurance with the minimum liability coverage as required by driverโs state and local area, and working personal vehicle that can be used to perform management tasks reliably.
ยทย Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical/Mental ability to:
ยทย Tolerate exposure to noise, extreme hot and cold temperatures, and other elements.
ยทย ย Frequently bend, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and twist at waist.
ยทย ย Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 50+ lb. occasionally, including lifting from ground to overhead.
ยทย ย Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects with hands for entire shift, including reaching for objects overhead.
ยทย ย Occasionally climb and descend ladders.
ยทย ย Remain active, standing for long periods without a break.
ยทย ย Work under pressure, such as high-volume peak periods, and remain calm with teammates and guests.
