Job description

THIS ROLE WILL BE ONSITE 5 DAYS PER WEEK IN MANHATTAN,.

An award-winning architecture and multi-disciplinary design firm, seeks a full-time Legal Assistant with experience working in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be versatile, possess excellent communication skills, and be prepared to support a dynamic and creative office.

Role:

Candidate will work closely with the Chief Legal Counsel.

Main responsibilities include:

· Word processing and copy-editing contracts and other legal documentation

· Managing digital and physical legal files

· Managing legal Databases

· Support Design Staff, accounting, marketing, HR, and PR with legal matters

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree (or other equivalent degree).

· Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in similar roles.

· Strong Interpersonal skills and organizational skills.

· Excellent communication, reading, and writing skills.

· A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

· Strong time management skills with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks excellent attention to detail.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

· Experience in legal department of design, construction, entertainment or real estate industry is a plus.
