Job description

Activities Assistant will work directly with the Director of Activities to assist in planning, implementation, and facilitating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs for residents.

Responsibilities include:

· Assist in planning and developing recreation programs to meet residents' creative, spiritual and social needs.

· Assist Activities Director with creating a monthly calendar of activities.

. Post monthly calendar in residents' room, as well as other prominent location that is visible to residents and visitors. 

· Coordinate and assist residents in getting to activity locations within the facility.

· Involve the residents and family in planning recreation programs, when possible.

· Arrange for and assist with residents field trips.

 Requirements:
