Assistant Security Account Manager Summary:
United Security is seeking a motivated and organized professional to join our team as an Assistant Account Manager. This operations-focused role works directly with the Account Manager to support daily field operations and ensure consistent service delivery across assigned locations.

The Assistant Account Manager plays a key role in overseeing deployments, working in the field with supervisory team members, coordinating staff schedules, supporting payroll processes, and maintaining strong communication with site personnel.

This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy developing teams, and are committed to operational excellence.

Assistant Account Manager Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the Account Manager with the day-to-day operational needs across assigned accounts, ensuring consistent service delivery and contract compliance.
  • Coordinate and manage staff scheduling to maintain appropriate coverage, operational efficiency, and staffing continuity.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, review, and verification for security personnel.
  • Serve as the site's subject matter expert by developing a comprehensive understanding of all site operations, policies, procedures, and client expectations.
  • Become a qualified site trainer responsible for training new personnel on all site-specific duties, including roof access inspections, fire alarm and fire panel monitoring, scan tag procedures, field deployments, outdoor foot patrols, mobile patrol operations, emergency response procedures, and other required post responsibilities.
  • Evaluate newly assigned security staff to ensure they demonstrate competency and confidence before working independently.
  • Maintain regular communication with security personnel, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to promote operational excellence.
  • Assist in supervising daily field operations, proactively identifying and resolving operational challenges while ensuring adherence to company policies and client standards.
  • Mentor and develop officers through hands-on leadership, training, and accountability to improve performance and encourage professional growth
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture built on professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
  • Spend extended periods working outdoors in an open-air shopping center environment and perform frequent walking, standing, and mobile patrols in varying weather conditions.
  • Communicate operational updates, staffing concerns, training needs, and site issues promptly.
  • Perform field inspections and additional duties as assigned.
