POSITION TITLE: Supervisor - Commercial Asset Protection
REPORTS TO: Manager - Commercial Asset Protection or Senior Manager - Commercial Asset Protection

POSITION SUMMARY:
Location based Asset Protection position responsible for all aspects of physical security, asset protection training, safety and investigations.

ย 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Enforce company Policy and Procedures
  • Oversee security operations to include security management of multiple selling floors, stockrooms and other public areas of assigned location(s)
  • Perform internal store audits
  • Train store management and associates in Asset Protection policy and procedures
  • Monitor store cash through Sales Audit reports and follow up significant discrepancies
  • Perform internal and external theft investigations
  • Conduct Asset Protection seminars, workshops and impromptu training classes
  • Monitor POS exception reports and follow up significant exceptions
  • Supervise selected store physical inventories to include Inventory Response Operations Center (I.R.O.C.)
  • Liaison with local authorities and emergency management services
  • Maintain location Emergency Management Plan and Business Impact Analysis
  • Monitor and maintain all Asset Protection systems (CCTV, EAS, Burglar Alarm)
AUTHORITY:
  • Store level Asset Protection position responsible for all aspects of internal audit, Asset Protection training, safety and investigations within assigned store(s)
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Degree preferred (Criminal Justice, Business Management, etc.), but not required
  • AEO Inc. Brand Ambassador or above with minimum 2 years retail or comparable experience
  • Audit results above company average and shrinkage results consistently below company average
  • Average computer skills, technical training a plus, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills; ability to follow through to completion with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem solving skills
