Operations Manager - Robotics & Electronics Recycling

Location: State College, PA


About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead a fast-growing environmental services and robotics company focused on advanced electronics recycling and automated disassembly systems. This role requires a hands-on operational leader who can manage daily production activities, optimize workflows, support automation initiatives, and build high-performing teams in a rapidly scaling startup environment.

The ideal candidate combines operational leadership, mechanical aptitude, and process improvement expertise with the ability to work effectively in a technology-driven manufacturing and recycling environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability

  • Manage production workflows where robotics and automation intersect with electronic scrap processing

  • Build, mentor, and develop operational leadership teams and shop floor personnel

  • Optimize operational systems, workflows, and production processes

  • Collaborate with shop floor leaders to support company growth and operational goals

  • Maintain facility operations, grounds, and security compliance

  • Utilize ERP systems to manage production, inventory, and operational reporting

  • Identify processed electronic devices and evaluate commodity recovery value

  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and industry regulations

Qualifications
