Job description

The Endpoint Manager will be responsible for vulnerability remediation and patch deployments. Ensuring security risk is mitigated in PC, Apple, ChromeOS, Server, and mobile solutions. This manager will be creating packages, images, and image maintenance.
Reports to : Executive Network Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with systems for endpoint device management - software distribution, updates, patching virus protection and imaging.
  • Prioritize goals and deadlines by ensuring regularly scheduled technical tasks are completed on time.
  • Monitor and maintain server vulnerability risks and patch deployments.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for endpoint management and security.
  • Monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards - Research, recommend and apply new technologies as they emerge.
  • Clearly document features, technical specifications and infrastructure requirements for technical work and job processes.
  • Primarily responsible for the configuration of Mac and Windows endpoint management systems, including software installations, software updates, OS patching, firmware update, antimalware and virus protection.
  • In-depth knowledge of SCCM -- Design, Implementation, Imaging, Asset Management and Reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Intune/Endpoint Management, Azure AD, Autopilot, PDQ Deploy, MDM and implementation.
  • Working knowledge of Mac endpoint management, JAMF preferred.
  • Experience in Scripting, Windows PowerShell for automation.
  • Define and monitor multiple project priorities and provide technical and administrative supervision; ensure appropriate management is apprised of operational status of projects.
  • Troubleshooting and support: Resolve technical issues with endpoints and assist with user support when needed.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience supporting end-user networks in a Microsoft environment.
  • 5+ years of experience using Device management software

Knowledge of:
  • Experience being hands on as an Endpoint Specialist/Manager
  • Experience managing process improvements and driving improvement initiatives ie. patching support
  • Active Directory and LDAP integration
  • Automation experience
