Position Summary

Operate a variety of Value-Add production machines or assemble products according to requirements of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Follow work instructions and training guidelines to ensure efficiency, product conformity, and compliance with customer and company standards.


Key Responsibilities

Production Operations:

  • Operate assigned presses, welders, riveters, molding machines, or assembly equipment per work instructions.
  • Correctly enter production and quality data into PLEX to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Assist leads and supervisors in meeting daily scheduling requirements.

Quality & Compliance:

  • Complete documentation and charting according to quality standards.
  • Partner with the Quality Department to ensure products conform to customer specifications.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, pull testers, and gauges when required.

Safety & Maintenance:

  • Follow all safety requirements, environmental guidelines, and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S standards.
  • Assist in the care and maintenance of tools and equipment.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction.
  • Support efficiency and productivity initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Working Environment

  • Setting: Primarily production floor with cross-department interaction.
  • Mobility: Frequent standing, walking, bending, and moving between workstations.
  • Conditions: Exposure to manufacturing noise, machinery, and handling of parts/tools.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, perform repetitive motions, and maintain dexterity.
  • Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed to support production schedules.


Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred; welding, soldering, or wire harness experience is a plus.
  • Skills: Ability to follow work instructions, maintain attention to detail, and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable using production software (PLEX), measuring equipment, and operating different types of machines.


Schedule:

  • On-Site
  • DAYS: Monday to Friday (Potential for overtime or Saturdays) 6AM-4:30PM
  • NIGHTS: Sunday to Wednesday (Potential for overtime) 8PM-6AM
