Job description

Join a Growing Team!Our client specializes in designing and building custom electrical switchgear and control systems for the power generation industry. They pride themselves on delivering innovative, cost-effective solutions while maintaining a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Shop Manager, the Assembly Technician performs wiring, assembly, and installation work on assigned switchgear projects. This position follows established schedules, safety protocols, installation processes, and work instructions to ensure quality and efficiency
? Location: Brookston, IN 47923
? Pay: $18.00 - $20.00/hr
? Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:

  • Utilize common electrical, mechanical, and carpentry shop tools safely and effectively

  • Assemble electrical sheet metal enclosures

  • Perform wiring and basic installation work

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies

  • Complete assigned tasks and assist with general housekeeping duties

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, work experience, and skill development

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in electrical, mechanical, or assembly environments

  • Basic computer literacy

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail

  • Commitment to workplace safety and housekeeping standards

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
