This position is based onsite at Aspire General Hospital, located in the scenic city of Athens, Georgia. The facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology and resources to support a wide range of medical services, including both inpatient and outpatient care settings. • Conduct thorough assessments of patients by performing comprehensive physical examinations and histories to determine healthcare needs.
• Order, collect, interpret, and evaluate laboratory tests and diagnostic images to support clinical decision-making.
• Prescribe and manage treatment plans, including medication and therapeutic interventions, in accordance with established protocols.
• Formulate and implement customized, outcomes-based treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, keeping in mind evidence-based practice and guidelines.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, nutrition, and health promotion, ensuring understanding and compliance.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and interventions accurately within the electronic health record system.
• Provide specialty care and consultation services relevant to cardiology, addressing complex patient needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to healthcare regulations and policies.
• May be required to adjust work schedules as needed to meet the department's patient care coverage demands.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with patients experiencing a range of cardiovascular conditions, including hypertension, heart disease, and arrhythmias. The role demands a strong focus on patient-centered care, where developing relationships and understanding individual patient needs are critical to achieving optimal health outcomes.

• Current certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in cardiology or a similar specialty.
• Strong understanding of medical principles, patient assessment techniques, and treatment protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and patient populations.

Experience in cardiology or experience in managing chronic diseases is preferred but not required. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard medical software is highly valued. This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
