ASPHALT PLANT INSPECTOR TRAINEE
Are you seeking a fulfilling career in the construction industry? Do you enjoy working independently? Does using spreadsheets to submit test data on-line interest you? Ardaman is seeking an entry-level candidate interested in becoming an Asphalt Plant Technician. We offer comprehensive training and support to obtain the required FDOT CTQP certifications for a successful career in testing and inspections in the highway construction industry. No previous asphalt experience is necessary. Work is typically at night in an air-conditioned environment at various asphalt plants in the Central Florida area. A company vehicle is provided.
Responsibilities:
Perform quality assurance testing and inspections at asphalt plants during asphalt production.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Interest in the construction industry.
  • Willingness to learn and obtain necessary certifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to move up and down stairs and platforms.
  • Ability to lift and transport samples less than 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing to work days and/or nights (mostly nights), based on project needs.
  • Must have an excellent driving record within company standards.
  • Must pass company background checks including drug screen.
