Job description

Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily production of a drum plant to produce high quality asphalt to be used in various PennDOT, township and private projects. Must be willing to work overtime during the construction season.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality production of apshalt materials.
  • Load trucks to various jobs each day.
  • Keep track of various materials needed for asphalt production and stock as needed.

Requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Safety Compliance
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during plant operation.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks and routine inspections to ensure plant is in optimal condition.

Maintenance and Repairs
  • Perform general maintenance on asphalt plant to ensure proper functionality.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly for timely repairs.
