HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Job Summary:
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Business Office Manager.
  • Manages business office functions; collaborates daily with nurse managers to maximize care quality and financial performance in the Center for Cardiac and Vascular Intervention (CCVI) efficiently and safely.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of diversity.
  • Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).
  • Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
  • Manages human resources (HR); supervises subordinate colleagues directly.
  • Manages the revenue cycle.
  • Manages accounts payable activities.
  • Manages reception, admissions, verifications, collections, and surgery scheduling.
  • Manages medical records administration.
  • Consults with the patient accounting system vendor and manages administrative contracts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Performs other duties.

Reports To:
  • ASC Administrator

Supervises:
  • TBD. May supervise non-Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) employees

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., certificate of high school equivalency)

Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in office management, business administration, healthcare management, or a closely related field.

Required Experience:
  • Three (3) years of job-related experience

Preferred Experience:
  • Five (5) or more years of job-related experience.
  • Management experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:
  • None
