Syntricate Technologies is seeking an AS400 Developer to manage batch-related errors and enhance AS400 applications. The role involves collaborating with IT and Business stakeholders, gathering requirements, and providing support for production batch cycles.
Responsibilities:
• Should be able to handle batch related errors and take appropriate action for production batch cycle Job failures.
• Should be able to handle and provide permanent solution for break fixes and develop code for AS400 enhancements and project deliveries.
• Experience of working directly with IT and Business stakeholders.
• Experience in requirement gathering, designing and solutioning.
• Flexible for weekend L2 & RFC (Change Request) support as per rotational basis.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Competencies: AS400_OS and DB2, AS400_CLP
• Experience (Years): 4-6 Years
• Should be able to handle batch related errors and take appropriate action for production batch cycle Job failures.
• Should be able to handle and provide permanent solution for break fixes and develop code for AS400 enhancements and project deliveries.
• Experience of working directly with IT and Business stakeholders.
• Experience in requirement gathering, designing and solutioning.
• Flexible for weekend L2 & RFC (Change Request) support as per rotational basis.
• Project experience in Application Support and development in AS400 and Batch jobs.
• Project experience in AS400 - RPG, CL & DB2 and SQL.
• Must have complete understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
Preferred:
• Attitude to learn new technologies depending on Project need.
• Knowledge of Agile and tools like JIRA.
• Knowledge of Insurance domain (Annuities)
• Basis Knowledge on CONTROL M monitoring & Support for Jobs
• Knowledge of Aldon tool & OnDemand tool is an added advantage.
