Job description

Job Summary:
The SCM analyst will contribute to the planning, procurement, logistics and inventory management of the delivery of parts .This candidate will have strong communication with internal and external teams to provide support for supply chain and logistics functions, which may include, but are not limited to, material procurement, placement of planned make/buys, outsourcing, and vendor selection.
Essential Functions:
  • Coordinate, organize, and manage RFQ/RFP's from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution requisition requests through requisition placement
  • Material scheduling, coordination and creation/modification of both independent and dependent demands
  • Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Tracking of material promise dates in coordination with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and ARV Partners.
  • Provides planning reporting analysis for tracking material shortages for job orders, kitting, sub-assemblies, and installations/stations based on requirements.
  • Align demands and promise dates; coordinate material release schedules with Manufacturing.
  • Provides input to Make/Buy decisions for material amp; components in coordination with engineering and manufacturing.
  • MRP planning in support of MBOM structure and development.
  • Analyze key performance indicators to ensure supply chain service level goals are achieved.
  • Demonstrate ability to anticipate emerging trends and their potential impact to the business.
  • Processes both initial release and change requests into Planned Buys or Planned Orders for all program material.

  • None
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (as demonstrated through experience, training and/or testing)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently/autonomously with clear understanding of department and program priorities.
  • Detailed experience with material planning, demands, requisition placement, PO tracking
  • Experience with ERP software like Oracle, SAP, Deltek, etc.
  • Soft pegging, hard pegging, and an understanding of MRP planning
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Positive attitude and flexible approach to work
  • Ability to work as a contributing member of multi-disciplinary teams
  • Familiar with Configuration Management Analyst duties/principles and can support configuration management in setting up BOMs and/or processing material change requests
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Deltek Costpoint or equivalent ERP system
  • Working knowledge of technical/Manufacturing installation and sequencing
  • Experience in Fabrication and/or Assembly
  • Understanding of design release activities and engineering changes and their effect on the MBOM
  • Solid knowledge with technical standards, manufacturing engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Understanding of Teamcenter
  • Experience with defense contracts and DCMA audits
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management or relevant experience.
Experience:
  • Desire a candidate with 3-5 years’ of experience in Planning or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management with 4-years’ experience in Planning.
Background Prerequisites:
  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.
  • All employment at ARV is contingent upon the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if the position requires it.
