Digital Marketing Specialist - GreenHaven

As Digital Marketing Specialist at GreenHaven, you will work closely with our Clients and our internal team to implement the Marketing Strategies to boost brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads. You will manage various digital channels, including social media, blogs, websites, email campaigns, SEO, to achieve the company's marketing goals.


NOTE: We are only looking for candidates who currently reside in Washington state and are able to attend onsite team meetings on a monthly basis in Tacoma, WA.


In addition you will:

  • You'll work with GreenHaven clients and their website and other digital properties to help them grow and meet their business goals.
  • You will create blog and webpage written content to help clients rank well on Google.
  • Develop and execute social media content strategies across multiple platforms to increase engagement and brand visibility.
  • You will coordinate GreenHaven resources such as Website Designers, Developers, Social Media Specialists and Search Ads Specialists.
  • Utilize your background and experience in writing or journalism to produce high quality, creative and well-researched content for GHI's clients. You are a skilled creative writer!
  • Create compelling social media posts, stories, and campaigns that align with client brand voice and marketing objectives.
  • You are diligent in thorough research to produce content that abides by Google's E.A.T. Model (Expertise, authoritative and trustworthy) and can generate creative ideas for content.
  • You will communicate in a professional, clear and concise manner to assess the vision for the content and follow through with that vision.
  • You are looking for flexible, part time hours that work within your schedule. Work/Life Balance can be achieved here at GHI!
  • You are a self-starter and have the ability to learn WordPress and can troubleshoot when necessary for Client blog posts and landing pages. We will teach you the technology, as needed!
  • You have a desire to provide a high-touch, prompt client support to assist in promoting their company message and overall digital marketing footprint.

Key Performance Criteria:

  • Task and project due dates are met 100% of the time.
  • Assigned Clients are happy.
    • Clients are communicated with in a timely and friendly fashion.
    • Clients always feel heard and know they are important to GreenHaven.
  • Client tasks are owned by you, even if someone else is assigned to a sub-task. We never "pass the buck".
  • Content is well written, proofread and engaging. AI can be used for assistance but content must have the human touch.
  • Social media content drives measurable engagement and supports overall marketing goals.
  • Any design updates or other site changes completed by the team are reviewed for quality and completeness by you before being presented to the Client.

The successful Digital Marketing Specialist must have:

  • Demonstrated high level written english proficiency. Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands.
  • Proven track record of customer service excellence
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage changing client moods and expectations
  • Clear and concise communications, both written and verbally
  • Experience with social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with online systems (see below systems list)
  • Project & Task management process understanding
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes such as Search Engine Optimization basics
