Duties/Responsibilities:
• Writes, prepares, and or reviews articles and information to be used in company publications for all companies.
• Writes, edits, and creates press releases for all companies in The Taylor Group.
• Editor of Taylor Today Newsletter, compiling and writing all articles. Responsible for obtaining photos to be used in each article and making sure all material  in the article is correct.
• Editor of “Taylor Today: A History”. Keeping the publication current with the events in each quarter.
• Coordinates the preparation of corporate publications, PowerPoint presentations, advertising materials, web materials, and video presentations, and ensures that the correct grammar, information, and research are done for each project.
• Create graphics, ads, marketing material, banners for sales meetings, advertising publications, corporate meetings, trade shows, directories, sponsorships, and make sure articles are correct.
• Create graphics and editorial content as part of the demand and volume for all Taylor companies.
• Manage the Square software system that the “Big Red Store” uses for inventory management, sales, purchases, and sales allocation.
• Head buyer for all ad specialty items for The Taylor Group, Inc.
• Oversee the brand specialist in making sure all branded items are using the correct logos and that orders are fulfilled appropriately according to order parameters.
• Responsible for other content management duties and responsibilities assigned by the Marketing Support Manager and Director of Marketing

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • This is not a remote job. The job expectation is to be in the office daily unless traveling for the company.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, Power Point and Excel
  • The applicant should have an excellent command of the English language and be skilled in the details of written work, such as grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • The applicant must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The applicant must have strong computer skills and the ability to find and fix typographical errors.
  •  Very strong copy-editing skills
  • The applicant must have graphic arts skills.
  •  An intense attention to detail
  •  Must be able to listen and take instructions well
