Job description

Title: Armory Work Center Maintenance Manager II Clearance Type: Secret Responsibilities (including but not limited to): * Have thorough knowledge of the principles of operation, disassembly/reassembly procedures and troubleshooting of NSW and SOCOM specific weapons, Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS) and weapon accessories from here to be referred to as Combat Weapons Systems (CWS). * Conducts assessments and required repairs to all CWS to include depot-level repairs to applicable systems. * Assists in CWS inventory, storage, receipt, issue, and movements to meet all security and safety regulations. * Manages the procurement, receipt and issue of all parts and generates repair parts usage reports to update the ELMS/DPAS database. * Provide direct supervisory oversight of arts and Maintenance Customer Service Representative. * Manages initial request, turn-in, and issue documents (DD Form 1149) of required ancillary gear to support team personnel and SEALS. Receives and coordinates the inventory and inspection of post-deployment return of all weapons accessories (ancillary) gear and help to determine the serviceability of received ancillary equipment for re-issue. * Travel as required CONUS and OCONUS for new equipment training, armory related conferences, and as assessment contact team member. Qualifications * Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements. * Must be prepared to complete the Naval Special Warfare Enhanced Organizational Level Armorer Course upon soonest available opening. * Must be able to lift items up to 75 lbs. * 3+ years' experience repairing small arms.
