Overview

Houlihan Lokey is a global investment bank that provides financial and valuation advisory services. Our Real Estate Valuation & Advisory Services (REVS) practice works with real estate asset classes and large asset managers.

Scope

We are recruiting a VP to be a fully integrated member of our engagement teams. Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct market and financial research regarding real estate supply, demand, pricing and investment parameters.
  • Manage and train a team of Analysts and Associates on real estate asset classes.
  • Manage client relationships, lead financial due diligence sessions, manage deliverables and support business development efforts.
  • Lead the valuation review process, guide valuations and review complex financial models.
  • Present valuation analyses and conclusions internally and externally.
  • Acquire knowledge of subscription data sources, and mine data from those efficiently.
  • Collect, manipulate and analyze property, market and financial data.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to team and clients.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 7 years of real estate industry experience with solid analytical capabilities.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in real estate, business administration, or related field with finance, accounting and economics coursework.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate finance and valuation techniques.
  • Strong technical modeling skills with Excel and ARGUS.
  • Knowledge of commercial property lease terms and comparison.
  • Excellent organizational, problemโ€‘solving and communication skills.
  • Strong business writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Progress toward or possession of real estate industry certifications such as MAI, CCIM, CPA, etc.
  • Willingness to travel.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $160,000 - $200,000 (actual may vary).
