The Area Merchandising Manager is a critical element to the success of our long-term business strategy. The Area Merchandising Manager will help run our business by driving compliance of merchandising processes and procedures, sales coaching, and managing vendor relations.

Job Functions:

  • Communicate clear expectations to achieve all brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Conduct regular quarterly visits and weekly conference calls for each location.
  • Collaborate with the District Manager(s) to effectively manage employee turnover and retention. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, assist in development and succession planning of team members.
  • Identify areas of opportunity on monthly, weekly, and daily reports and implement plans to correct any issues and improve performance.
  • Recognize and resolve customer feedback by determining optimal solutions in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for protecting company assets with various audit processes and ensure that all cash handling and Love’s policies and procedures are followed by all employees.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a district restaurant management position required.
  • 2+ years deciphering and impacting budgets and P&L statements.
  • 2+ years leading through influence in a multi-unit setting.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
  • Exceptional customer service, positive rapport building, expert salesmanship, and ensuring satisfaction by managing operations and employee-vehicle deployment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
  • Effective teamwork skills.
  • Ability to navigate various computer programs, systems, and technology tools as part of daily operations.
  • Must be able to talk, hear, move around, lift up to 50 pounds, and see clearly to perform job duties.
