Area Manager- After School Programs

Full Time

Location- San Ramon, CA

Do you have a passion for learning? Do you have an entrepreneurial spirit, crave new challenges, and seek to make a difference? If so, the Area Manager position with AlphaBEST is perfect for you! The Area Manager will play a key role by providing multi-site operational leadership for our after-school programs.

Pay & Benefits:

  • Salary $70,000 - $75,000 based on education and experience
  • Full-time benefits including health, dental, vision, disability benefits, retirement, life, and paid time off

Here's what you will need:

  • BA or BS in a related field
  • Strong organizational and supervisory skills are required, preferably in a multi-site environment
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Must be enthusiastic, energetic, creative and sensitive to children
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with a diverse population
  • Knowledge of state policies and procedures regarding child care regulations
  • Proven ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for children
  • Strong ability to oversee and manage multiple school locations in the district.

  • Hire and develop exceptional, diverse, and high-performing team members including Site Directors and Group Leaders.
  • Evaluate program safety and performance, making corrections as necessary.
  • Build sustainable community partnerships with local business leaders and organizations.
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and build new opportunities for growth.
  • Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered throughout your area of responsibility.
