FAMILY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN (0.6-1.0 FTE)
Hibbing, Minnesota
PRACTICE SPECIFICS
  • Join an experienced, progressive, well-respected primary care team (2 MD's, 3 NP) with full diagnostic and therapeutic support services, including pharmacy, infusion services, and rehabilitative services for adult and pediatric patients
  • Mentoring provided to new physicians
  • OB is optional
  • ZERO Call! In an effort to maintain work-life balance for our providers, Essentia has implemented a ZERO Call model. All after hours call (not including OB, hospital and SUD/MOUD call) is covered by a separate call team.
  • 36 patient contact hours/week
  • Outpatient practice
  • Full complement of visiting specialties including; Surgical and Medical Orthopedics, Oncology, General Surgery, Audiology, Nephrology, Urology, Cardiology, Weight Management and Occupational Medicine
  • Hometown environment with support of a large health system

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate Hibbing's proximity to the wilderness of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and the extensive network of cross-country ski, snowshoe, and snowmobile trails. It has excellent public and private schools as well as a community college and technical school. Both high school and college sports are popular and supported by the community.
