About the Role
Fishbeck is seeking a talented Architectural Technical Designer to join our growing Architectural Department. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting in the design and technical development of small- to medium-scale projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of project types, with a primary focus on higher education, healthcare, and civic/municipal projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the design team during programming and conceptual phases.
  • Support the project architect in preparing design development and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with in-house engineers and external consultants to ensure design integration and accuracy.
  • Assist the project architect with construction administration, including site observation, RFI review, and submittal processing.

Qualifications
  • Master of Architecture or Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of architectural experience.
  • Actively pursuing AXP hours and architectural licensure.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Revit.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple deadlines.
