Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to interact with individual customers by developing relationships through personal sales calls and other social activities. Assist customers with product choices according to their specific needs and provide ongoing support to product distribution channels. This position requires substantial knowledge of the products sold.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client | Community Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements, and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Build/Maintain relationships with fabricators/installers and local Kitchen & Bath dealers.
  • Responsible for proactively generating appointments with both customers and prospects.
  • Assist dealers such as fabricators and distributors with the sales and ordering process.
  • Attend and participate in special events and tradeshows as required by management.
  • Help coordinates marketing and outreach efforts to architects, designers, homebuilders, and the public through various channels.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including showroom coverage on an "as-needed" basis.

Account Growth and Retention:
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify upselling, cross-selling, and growth opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Set and achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Monitor client retention and take proactive steps to minimize churn.
  • Ability to service the assigned sales area in person daily.
  • Occasional regional travel required to service extended territories.
  • Achieve or exceed all established sales goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.

Product Knowledge:
  • Possess a deep understanding of the organization's products or services and how they fulfill client needs.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors' offerings.
  • Assist clients in selecting materials for their overall project(s).

Communication and Presentation:
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing product information, updates, and solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to clients.

Contract Management:
  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with clients.
  • Ensure contracts are accurately documented and executed.
  • Close deals and work together with team to submit orders.

Problem-Solving:
  • Identify and resolve client issues and challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address client needs.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Provide feedback and schedule reports to management as indicated.
  • Other duties as assigned.
