Job description

We are seeking a 100% commission-based Interior Design Salesperson to join our team!


Responsibilities:

  • Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive to the client
  • Calculate the specifications and cost of materials for each project
  • Cover Showroom Floor Days
  • Schedule appointments and travel to the client's job site
  • Some lifting of vendor samples is required
  • Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships
  • Prepare and process client contracts, documents, and orders.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales
  • Familiarity with flooring and window treatments is desired
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer experience

This is an exciting commissioned position for someone who likes meeting new people and working in interior design.

Sales experience is required, with a specialization in residential flooring and window treatments.

Cover the showroom floor days, including some Saturdays.

Schedule appointments, specify products, provide sampling, and travel to clients’ homes.

Process contracts, orders, and follow-ups, and maintain client files.
