What We Need: 
 
We are looking for a Project Manager 1 – Architectural Products to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team. 
 
Project Manager 1 is responsible for the oversight of various stages throughout the project lifecycle to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time completion.  This role manages individual or multiple smaller projects coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
 
 What You Will Do: 
 
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines. Conduct qualifying reviews with cross functional teams and stakeholders.  
  • Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to plans. Coordinate tasks among team members. 
  • Monitor and track budget project progress.  Report discrepancies and identify alternatives to ensure budget adherence.  
  • Serve as a primary point of project.  Facilitate regular project meetings and provide updates. 
  • Assist in allocating project resources and track utilization. 
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. 
  • Maintain project documentation, including plans and status reports. Prepare and deliver project reports. 
  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of functional area techniques and processes. 
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.  
 
What You Have: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field. 
  • At least 1-year relevant experience required; 3-years of experience preferred.
