Job description

Garver's growing Buildings team is looking to add an experienced Project Architect/Project Coordinator in our Rogers, AR office. The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of overall Architectural experience in efficient and aggressive project delivery methods. Strong skills in construction detailing, construction documents assembly, building component integration, specification development, engineering discipline coordination, project communication and leadership are required.
This candidate must be able to integrate into an in-house multi-disciplinary team setting. Candidates should have extensive experience with Revit. Construction administration experience is a plus. We believe that overall project design is improved by simplifying the interaction and communication between architecture and engineering teams. The successful candidate for this position will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of architects, engineers, planners, and designers on a large variety of project types. We are looking for an architect who will be excited to join Garver in expanding our capabilities, and who appreciates blending functional requirements with aesthetic concepts.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture
  • Licensed Architect or the ability to gain licensure within 12 months
  • BIM experience - Proficient in Revit
  • 5-15 years of architecture experience
  • Working knowledge of construction techniques and coordinating details
  • Detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of coordination with project engineering disciplines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in development of Opinion of Probable Construction Costs at various stages of project development.
  • Experience with Design-Build Project Delivery
  • Experience with Request for Proposal – RFP solicitations and project development
  • Working knowledge of National Building Codes and Federal Design criteria.
