This role is responsible for defining the principles that guide technical architecture for OPERS IT systems and overseeing programs to ensure the proper architecture is implemented. The Technical Architect 3 position is responsible for translating complex products and project requirements into innovative technical solutions that can be implemented by the organization. What you’ll bring:

  • A passion for delivering high quality work
  • A strong understanding of Automated Unit Testing, modern secured systems development and deployment architecture, REST APT Design & Development, and Relational databases
  • At least 8 years of overall IT experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in product architecture, object oriented, functional and reactive design or development.
  • Ability to conduct proof of concepts and provide thought leadership for new technology adoption.
  • Experience with Microsoft AI ecosystem including Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Foundry preferred
  • Experience with Kong API Gateway, Developer Portal and Insomnia for API design preferred
  • Experience with modern IAM solutions like Okta and Entra preferred
