  • Measure and analyze system responsiveness during critical GIS user workflows, including map opening, rendering, zoom/pan operations, feature editing, layer refresh, attribute queries, geoprocessing, and data synchronization.
  • Define clear performance benchmarks and acceptance criteria for GIS operations.
  • Develop realistic test scenarios simulating concurrent user workloads and GIS usage patterns.
  • Create and maintain performance test scripts utilizing LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE) and Apache JMeter.
  • Automate the execution, monitoring, and reporting of performance tests, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
  • Build reusable performance testing frameworks and assets.
  • Monitor client-side and server-side performance metrics during test execution.
  • Analyze response times, resource utilization (CPU, Memory, Disk, Network), rendering performance, transaction throughput, and system scalability.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks related to ArcGIS Pro processing, network latency, data layers, infrastructure constraints, and client workstation performance.
  • Produce detailed performance assessment reports and dashboards, presenting findings, trends, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with GIS engineers, infrastructure teams, developers, and architects to resolve identified performance issues and participate in root cause analysis and performance tuning activities.

Required Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE) and Apache JMeter.
  • Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies including Load Testing, Stress Testing, Soak/Endurance Testing, Scalability Testing, and Baseline Testing.
