* Seeking Interns in New Jersey *

PCF delivers printed media to millions of homes across the Northeast region. PCF’s Logistics Routing & Optimization Intern will turn classroom skills into real-world impact: helping PCF with new client onboarding, route restructures, geographical updates, and specialized client programs.

Through a hands-on internship at PCF, a student will interact with several departments, which include Applications Development, IT Operations, Distribution Operations, and other Teams. The scope of this work will range from routine data quality work to project coordination.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Data Management:

· Inputting, updating and maintaining geographic data within databases. Working with a team of logistic professionals and other stakeholders to complete projects.

Data Analysis:

· Analyzing spatial data to identify patterns, trends and relationships.

Dart system:

· Learn this system and assist with the configuration to fulfill the changing needs of our customers

Customer Liaison:

· Act as customer liaison by providing regular ticket status to the customer/user.

Other duties as assigned

Experience:

Familiar with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Maps, Internet and archive research skills

Education:

A Junior or Senior preferred. Coursework from an accredited college or university in GIS planning, engineering, public or business administration or a closely related field would be preferred as well.

Schedule:

M-F, 8-4

Pay: $18-$20 (and credit if needed)

Required:

  • Current college students entering their Junior, Senior year or Masters.
  • Must be enrolled in an academic program majoring in one of the following:
  • Geographic Information System
  • Information Technology
  • Logistics Program
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in the use of Excel
  • Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently
  • Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
