Collections Representative I
(Member Solutions / Customer Service)
$18-$22 per hour
Full-Time | Lending Department | Credit Union
Chief Financial Credit Union is seeking a compassionate and solution-focused Collections Representative I to join our team.
This role focuses on early-stage member outreach and support, helping members who are just beginning to fall behind on payments. Our approach to collections is centered on member service, education, and problem-solving - working with members to find solutions and prevent further financial hardship.

What You'll Do
Contact members with accounts 11-29 days past due to assist with bringing loans current
Work with members to identify payment solutions and repayment options
Handle returned payments and checks, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
Contact members experiencing first-payment defaults and help resolve issues early
Review accounts for loan maturity and payment accuracy
Maintain accurate records of all member interactions and account activity
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account-related issues
Follow all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
