Join Arbor Day Farm as a Houseperson and help create meaningful guest experiences while advancing the Foundation's mission right here in Nebraska City.
Your Support System:
You'll report to our Housekeeping Manager.
You'll collaborate with leaders and team members across the property, including Front Desk.

How We Work: Location: Nebraska City, Nebraska - Arbor Day Farm Campus
Schedule: Friday and Saturday, 3:00pm-11:00pm and 1 or 2 other days
Our campus is guest-centered and hospitality-driven. Many roles require flexibility to support weddings, conferences, seasonal festivals, and signature events. We work hard, support each other, and believe if we're going to do something - it's worth doing well.
What You'll Do:
  • Prep guests' rooms for Room Attendants. You will strip the room in preparation for the Room Attendants to ensure a seamless process.
  • Complete a variety of tasks. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel, delivering equipment to rooms, helping with laundry services as needed, and responding to guests' requests to deliver the hotels effort of outstanding guest service.
  • Perform Deep Cleaning. You will be tasked with deep cleaning and special projects as needed.
  • Represent Lied Lodge. You'll maintain a professional appearance and representation.
  • Be part of a global non-profit. You will gain valuable work experience that sets you up for other opportunities on our property.
