Arabella  Health and Wellness of Carrabelle is looking to fill 

Maintenance Supervisor

239 Crooked River Rd, Carrabelle, FL 32322

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor 

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all physical aspects of the facility, including service of electrical and mechanical systems; maintenance of equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds; housekeeping and laundry departments; and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.

Hours are typically 8am - 4:30pm, does include additional hours can be anticipated due to being on call, emergencies, etc.

Experience in electrical, plumbing, painting preferred

Maintenance Responsibilities:

  • Conducts regular inspections of life safety systems, including fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems.

  • Coordinates annual maintenance schedule and completion.

  • Coordinates engineering contractors and vendors, making sure insurance and licenses are current.

  • Oversees necessary repairs and maintenance in resident rooms and common areas.

  • Ensures the outside of the property is maintained, including landscaping and garbage/trash removal

  • Maintains inventory control for all general supplies, parts and equipment for necessary repairs and maintenance.

  • Maintains all required engineering files.

  • Assesses all plumbing and electrical problems within the community and determines the best course of action to correct the problem.

  • Works within the legal scope of local and state codes. Reviews safety data sheets (SDS) as requested for potential exposure to hazardous chemicals used and take necessary precautions

  • Responds appropriately to resident or community emergencies by assisting as needed

  • Creates, schedules, implements, and manages a preventive maintenance program for production machinery and equipment

  • Evaluates jobs in process and on completion to ensure products meet safety and work quality expectation.

  • Oversee the housekeeping department to ensure correct cleaning methods are being followed

  • Oversee the laundry department to ensure correct handling of linen is being followed.

  • Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
