Job description

The Amazon Global Engineering and Sustainability (Ops GEMS) organization is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Program Manager (PM) capable of providing program management support in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment. The Ops GEMS organization consists of 2000+ employees and is focused on delivering incremental capacity to the WW Stores network. The Ops Planning Team works closely with 20+ teams within Ops GEMS such as Construction and Ops Engineering, and multiple partner teams such as Worldwide Design & Engineering (WWDE), Global Realty (GR), Amazon Robotics (AR), Finance, etc.
As a Program Manager, you will manage and support multiple initiatives simultaneously while working quickly to deliver results.
In this role, you will be required to engage with a cross-functional team of leaders to identify metrics and data sources, develop key performance indicators, provide insights and analytics, and manage execution plans.
You must be a highly-effective communicator, capable of leading executive-level meetings, owning recaps and tracking milestones to pull work forward.
You will be responsible for facilitating Weekly Business Reviews - stakeholder coordination, metrics validation, etc.
You will be required to create and manage executive level whitepapers


You will conduct data analysis to identify recurring issues and implement significant process improvement projects within the team and larger business function.
Key job responsibilities
1. Business Review Preparation and Execution: Coordinate and prepare materials for regular business reviews. Ensure all relevant data and metrics are collected and analyzed

Facilitate review meetings and follow up on action items.
2. Data Interpretation and Analysis: Analyze complex engineering performance data and metrics. Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement

Develop insightful reports and presentations for leadership
3. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with various stakeholders across GEMS and other departments. Coordinate deep dive sessions to address specific performance issues.

Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to drive performance improvements.
4. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Implement and maintain performance tracking systems. Develop and distribute regular performance reports

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor progress driving learning and awareness.
5. Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement process improvements for performance management. Drive adoption of new tools and methodologies to enhance performance


6. Cross-Horizontal Support and Ad Hoc Requests: Provide support across various horizontal teams within the organization. Collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment on performance initiatives.

Respond to and manage ad hoc requests from leadership and stakeholders. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and organizational needs. Assist in special projects and initiatives as required.
