What You'll Do

As a In-Home Caregiver, Homemaker, you'll focus on keeping our clients' homes running smoothly while providing kind, attentive companionship. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Performing light housekeeping such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and tidying living areas
  • Washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry and linens
  • Changing bed linens and maintaining clean, comfortable sleeping areas
  • Planning, shopping for, and preparing nutritious meals based on client preferences and dietary needs
  • Washing dishes and keeping kitchens clean and organized
  • Running errands, including grocery shopping, prescription pickups, and dry cleaning
  • Providing transportation to appointments, social outings, and community activities
  • Offering meaningful companionship, conversation, reading, games, walks, and shared activities
  • Providing medication reminders (no administration or injections)
  • Assisting with light personal care needs, such as grooming reminders or wardrobe selection
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in client well-being, mood, or home environment to the care team and family
  • Documenting daily activities and following the individualized client care plan
  • Upholding client dignity, privacy, and respect in every interaction
Requirements
  • A genuine heart for serving seniors and individuals needing support at home
  • Must pass a thorough background check
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and active auto insurance
  • Strong housekeeping, organization, and meal preparation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional, respectful demeanor
  • Ability to follow a care plan and work independently in a client's home
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a homemaker, In-Home caregiver, housekeeper, or in a similar in-home role
  • Experience cooking for seniors or individuals with specific dietary needs
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification is a plus, though not required for this role
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
