Summary
The Freight Forwarding Recruiting Supervisor is responsible for ensuring alignment of business objectives between employees and management. This role is responsible for recruiting execution and workforce operations control. Ensuring staffing readiness, accurate manpower visibility, and disciplined coordination of HR processes, rather than serving as a pure recruiting or administrative position.
Responsibilities
Recruiting Strategy & Talent Pipeline Development
  • Develop and maintain recruiting pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, employee referrals, recruiting events, and external partnerships
  • Identify and evaluate new sourcing channels, recruiting tools, and talent attraction strategies to improve candidate flow and hiring effectiveness
  • Conduct market research and talent mapping activities to support hiring needs across key operational and professional functions
  • Build relationships with passive candidates and talent communities to strengthen long-term recruiting capabilities

Talent Acquisition Execution & Staffing Delivery
  • Lead facility-level recruiting activities to fulfill approved manpower requirements, partnering closely with operations leaders to understand hiring needs, priorities, and timelines
  • Manage recruiting workflows from requisition intake through offer acceptance and onboarding readiness, ensuring timely staffing support for business operations
  • Coordinate recruiting efforts with HQ recruiting resources, hiring managers, external staffing agencies, and search partners
  • Support sourcing activities through job boards, referrals, networking, and recruiting vendors to maintain candidate pipelines for ongoing hiring needs
  • Monitor recruiting progress, staffing gaps, and hiring bottlenecks, providing regular updates and recommendations to HR and operational leadership
  • Ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and hiring process

Workforce Planning, Headcount & Organizational Control
  • Own and maintain manpower status, headcount reports, vacancy tracking, and organizational charts to provide accurate workforce visibility
  • Monitor staffing levels and hiring progress against approved workforce plans and operational requirements
  • Prepare workforce, recruiting, and staffing reports to support business and leadership decision-making
  • Support workforce planning discussions by providing staffing data, hiring trends, and market insights
  • Ensure organizational and employee data remain accurate, current, and audit-ready

Agency & Recruiting Vendor Management
  • Coordinate relationships with external staffing agencies, recruiting vendors, and search partners to support hiring objectives
  • Manage candidate submissions, ownership reviews, recruiting activity tracking, and pipeline visibility across sourcing channels
  • Evaluate recruiting channel effectiveness and support continuous improvement of sourcing strategies and vendor partnerships
  • Assist in developing and maintaining talent pipelines for key operational, professional, and leadership positions

Additional responsibilities
  • Support recruiting-related projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance hiring effectiveness and candidate experience
  • Prepare recruiting metrics, pipeline reports, and hiring updates for HR and business leadership
  • Assist in developing interview guides, evaluation scorecards, and role-specific hiring criteria
  • Conduct talent market research and competitive talent mapping for critical business positions
  • Coordinate relationships with external recruiting agencies and support vendor performance tracking
  • Participate in workforce planning discussions and provide recruiting insights to support business growth
  • Support onboarding and new hire integration activities for key hires as needed
  • Perform other talent acquisition and HR-related duties as assigned

Compensation Range
$69,641 - $78,522 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
