Job Description Summary

Assist journeyman level electrician in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Support technicians in repairing motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), control panels, and transformers.

  • Installation: Install conduit, cable trays, wire, and electrical components according to schematics.

  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine inspections to detect faults in electrical systems.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA standards and Lockout/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.

  • Documentation: Complete work orders and update maintenance logs. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Key Requirements

  • Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand/power tools, and ability to read blueprints.

  • Physical: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights.

Apprenticeship: Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a formal apprenticeship program.
