Construction (General Journeyman) electrician apprentices work in all phases of the electrical construction and service industry, ranging from single-family residences to state-of-the-art industrial plants.  Electrician apprentices install conduits, wire lighting switches and converters and install and maintain all kinds of electrical installations.  The work is done both indoors and outdoors, in existing and newly constructed buildings, in all kinds of weather around noise and mud.  Electrician apprentices work in cramped areas and in awkward positions.
