Job description

Muza Sheet Metal Company is growing, and we have an excellent opportunity for a Sheet Shop Laborer / Pre-Apprentice - 2nd Shift to join Team Muza!
No experience necessary - training and tools will be provided!
This position offers the opportunity to transition into our long-standing, highly respected Apprenticeship Program. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with occasional overtime as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist Sheet Metal Journeymen with daily tasks in the shop
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including routine daily upkeep
  • Support fabrication processes, including flashing and panel fabrication
  • Operate Muza company trucks as needed
  • Safely load, strap, and secure trailers for transport
  • Refuel and maintain company vehicles
  • Wash and detail company trucks and work vehicles regularly
  • Operate forklift (training and certification provided if not already certified)

Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School diploma or HSED (required for Apprenticeship eligibility)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • Sheet Metal experience preferred, but not required
