GEMCO is a national mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation systems and service contractor providing comprehensive design and build solutions for its customers throughout the United States. GEMCO is coast to coast holding engineering and construction registrations, licenses, and certifications within 30+ states.

Position Summary 

The Mechanical Apprentice is responsible for the assembling and installing of HVAC units to new and existing construction projects. 

Primary Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Installing duct work, equipment and curbs
  • Cutting and threading pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine
  • Other duties as assigned.
