Brand Finance Apprentice
1 year Starting September 2026

If you are passionate about the world of finance, you enjoy to deep dive and sort through massive data, then this Brand Finance Apprentice position is the one for you! 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

As our Brand Finance Apprentice, you will be part of the Global Brand Finance team controlling the marketing investments in the Prestige Division (25+ brands including Gucci, Hugo Boss, Burberry, etc.). Each finance controller within this team oversees the performance and investments in a portfolio of brands. Your will assist the team in the day-to-day management of their finance tasks. This will mostly include tasks related to Month end close, compliance, budget tracking & forecast. 

Your main focus:  

  • Month End Close (MEC): prepare monthly / quarterly close by updating tracking files, review budget actuals with finance controllers to ensure compliance & accuracy and present main variances to Brand Finance team during landing meetings. 

  • Journal entries / accounting documents: pre-close/post close checks, maintain calendar of innovation, gather info from team to update tracker, prepare/post MEC entries and Summary dashboard / insights. 

  • Reporting: use reporting tool (incl. Power BI) to report monthly Actuals, Prepaids & Copyrights, ensure timeliness & accuracy of financial reports, marketing team access management.  

  • Purchase Order management: review data & inputs consolidation, communication with Brand Finance team and accounting team. 

  • Adhoc requests including projects related ones.

YOU ARE A COTY FIT 

You like to work with massive financial data and use your analytical skills to solve the problems. As Brand Finance Apprentice, you will learn how to compile and analyze the data, track the information, support other functions/teams and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you: 

  • Basic knowledge of US GAAP. 

  • Strong understanding of MS suite, particularly Excel
  • Able to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills. 

  • Effective communication. 

  • English Fluency.  Other Languages are a big plus
