Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Electrical Trainee to join our team. As an Electrical Trainee, you will be working under the guidance of experienced professionals to develop your skills and knowledge in the electrical trade. This role is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow, and we are looking for someone who is eager to learn and take on new challenges.
Duties:
  • Perform a variety of electrical tasks, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and devices
  • Assist in the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, and transformers
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently
  • Conduct routine electrical inspections and tests using equipment such as a voltmeter and ohmmeter
  • Identify and resolve electrical issues on construction sites
  • Collaborate with experienced electricians to learn and develop new skills
  • Work safely and follow all safety protocols on the construction site
  • Familiarize yourself with relevant building codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and practices
  • Familiarity with low-voltage electrical systems a plus
  • Strong understanding of electrical principles and concepts
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently on construction sites
