Apprentice Electrician

Apprentice Electrician CARJON Air Conditioning & Heating Smithfield, RI (and surrounding areas)

CARJON Air Conditioning & Heating is expanding our electrical division and looking for motivated Apprentice Electricians (1st through 4th year) to join our team. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, gain real-world skills installing and maintaining HVAC electrical systems, and build a long-term career with a company that truly values its people.

What We Offer

What You'll Do

  • Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems
  • Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Maintain a clean and safe job site while delivering excellent customer service
  • Participate in training to advance your skills and license progression

What You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled or registered as a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Apprentice Electrician
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians
  • Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable record
  • Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders
  • Strong work ethic and desire to grow in the HVAC trade
  • Color vision (required for working with electrical wiring)
